Christine was one of the late 1970’s Vietnamese refugees. By God’s grace and His Sovereign hand, she had safely arrived in the US with her family in 1982. She began to have the opportunity to start schooling, then church life also began. She was called into full time ministry while finishing her study in Fashion Design. God made a way for her to attend Bible training through Calvary School of Theology in the Bay Area, and received training from Children’s Ministry Institute in Missouri. Christine began her first Mission Field in 1997 with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Silicon Valley. In 2006, God redirected Christine to focus on children’s ministry within the church - three years at San Francisco Alliance Church, four years at Logos Baptist Church; Now at Central Chinese Christian Church of Castro Valley as a Children’s Ministry Director.
Christine is currently involved in the CEF after school - Good News Club program reaching out to the school children in the community with the Gospel; she also has the burden to help less established churches to strengthen their children ministry and provide teacher training for the children’s workers.
HER VISION
Her Vision is to bring the children to a personal relationship with Jesus and guide them to become God’s Kingdom Kids - not only being a faithful follower, but becoming an effective and influential person who can be like the Salt of the earth, and a Light in the world of darkness.
HER FAMILY
Christine is a mother of two children (Jonathan & Elese) who are constantly growing. They are a Gift from God, and a constantly mirror reflection of lessons to her in every stage of life. Her husband - Peter - though is a techie guy, but he is a very loving husband and a gentle friendly father, a great supporter and a partner with Christine in ministry. Our children look forward to family time in the evenings whenever we can squeeze in one in the midst of our busy life, we also like short get away trips throughout the year to take the family away from the daily busy life to focus on each other & remind each other the most important things in life that God wants us to focus on.
